The Simulation Hypothesis

I’ve been interested in the simulation hypothesis since October 2017. I made a website on it which contains interesting YouTube videos and articles about it.

If you want to have a good understanding of the simulation hypothesis, I recommend the movies “The Matrix” and “The Truman Show.” In “The Matrix,” the main character Neo realizes that he is literally in a massive computer simulation. In “The Truman Show,” the main character Truman is in a fake world where the people around him are actors; he is living in a giant dome and one day he starts to question reality itself.

I personally think it’s highly possible that I am currently living in a computer simulation right now. Elon Musk, for several years, has stated that he believes it is highly likely we are in a computer simulation. He even said that he thinks the chances that we are in base reality is one in billions. I think the reasoning behind that statement is that if there were futuristic civilizations out there, they could create billions of simulations and there would be more simulated beings than real beings.
