I made the website Climate Change Guide on August 20, 2011. For over a decade, it spread awareness about climate change, humanity’s greatest challenge. The website typically gets over 100 visitors per day from around the world.
This website gives info about the causes, effects and solutions of climate change. It also contains many articles on great documentaries and YouTube videos about climate change.
Personally, I think climate change is the most serious issue that we face as a civilization and we have to take action before it is too late. In certain countries, especially the United States, people have treated climate change as if it were a political issue, with one side calling it a hoax. However, there is overwhelming evidence to back the scientific consensus that:
- Climate change is happening now
- Humans are causing climate change through significant emissions of greenhouse gases
- Humanity takes to take action by reducing our emissions
Climate change is already affecting millions of people by causing more extreme weather events. It is estimated that there could be over 1 billion climate refugees in this century. I definitely agree with this quote from Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore:
I don’t really consider this a political issue, I consider it to be a moral issue.

It is vital that the vast majority of people be aware of how serious climate change is. They should know that, among other effects, it will worsen:
- Floods
- Hurricanes
- Heat Waves
- Wildfires
- Tornadoes
- Droughts
